**This is a PRN / as-needed role requiring at least 6 full shifts per month. Candidates should have flexible availability, as scheduling may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours based on program needs. In alignment with company policy, candidates who reside within a 35-mile radius of 80230 will be expected to work a hybrid schedule that includes on-site coverage as needed, even though this role is PRN.

What you’ll be doing:

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Clinical Response Specialist I is responsible for assisting patients, families, and providers in navigating the admissions process with ERC Pathlight. This role will help to manage calls and correspondence on a national level by completing brief intake screens that demonstrate sharp clinical knowledge and skills, all while providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and providers seeking care with ERC Pathlight.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries, completing intake calls in a validating, timely, inclusive, and comforting fashion while determining clinical appropriateness to move forward in the admissions process. Demonstrate detail-oriented work through the necessary documentation, communication, and coordination to assist in the admission process to ERC Pathlight.
• Support coverage gaps for fax, email, voicemail, and web inquiry coverage to determine if patients and families are appropriate to move forward with receiving care at ERC Pathlight.
• Consult with referring providers and ERC Pathlight treatment teams regarding red flags or readmissions.
• May be required to work some evenings and/or weekends based on coverage needs a the time of hire

Training Requirement (Preferred): To ensure a successful onboarding experience, we strongly prefer that new PRN hires are available for approximately 20 hours per week during the first three (3) weeks of employment to complete required training. Please ensure this availability in order to proceed and qualify for the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree or at least one year of directly related experience
• Patient and/or person facing customer service experience
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness strongly preferred

Compensation starting range for the Clinical Response Specialist role is $23.00 to $29.00. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
