As a Kitchen Supervisor at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to manage the food service system, providing oversight of food quality, production, and training. The Kitchen Supervisor is the key point of contact between the food service and dietary teams.

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:

  • Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work activities of assigned kitchen teammates. Trains new kitchen staff on all relevant kitchen processes. Creates and updates kitchen schedule to achieve appropriate staffing levels based on census.

  • Manages kitchen and dining area cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with health and sanitation codes. Reviews kitchen equipment logs and submits equipment maintenance requests to appropriate contractors/Practice Manager.

  • Provide coverage for kitchen staff, as needed.

  • Oversees inventory and ordering of food and supplies.

  • Collaborates with dietary staff to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery of food service.

  • Performs food feedback surveys and other QA measures and communicates results with the dietary staff.

Must haves:

  • High School or GED Required

  • Food Manager’s License Required

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required

  • 4 to 6 years in a similar role required

Preferred:

  • Associates Degree Preferred

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
