What you'll be doing:

The Leaning Management System Analyst (LMS Analyst) is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure an effective and engaging learner experience. This role supports the delivery of company-wide training and development programs by configuring the LMS, managing course content, troubleshooting user issues, generating reports, and supporting compliance tracking. The LMS Analyst partners closely with HR, IT, Compliance, and department leaders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Administration & Configuration
    • Serve as the primary system administrator for the Learning Management System, supporting all configurations, permissions, user roles, and integrations.
    • Maintain system integrity, security, and functionality through regular audits and updates.
    • Collaborate with department leaders and vendor support to resolve technical issues and implement new system features or enhancements.
  • Course & Content Management
    • Upload, test, and deploy SCORM, AICC, xAPI, and other eLearning content types.
    • Organize and maintain course catalogs, learning paths, and certifications.
    • Ensure content is current, accessible, and accurately assigned to user groups.
  • User Support & Training
    • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for LMS users, including troubleshooting login, course access, and completion issues.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, quick reference materials, and system FAQs.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Generate and analyze training data reports to support compliance, audits, and learning effectiveness measurement.
    • Ensure accurate recordkeeping for mandatory and regulatory training (e.g., HR compliance, safety, data privacy).
    • Design automated workflows and reminders for required training.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay current on LMS technology trends, new features, and best practices.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the learner experience and streamline administrative processes.
    • Support cross-functional initiatives involving learning data, analytics, and integration with HRIS or performance management systems.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience managing an LMS (e.g., Litmos, Docebo, or similar).
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with SCORM/xAPI packages, user management, and report building.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation for the Research Data Analyst position is $33.79-$42.25 based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
