We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you’ll be doing:

The People Services Generalist serves as a key resource for the People Team, teammates and managers, providing HR support, analytics and guidance across various HR functions. This role is responsible for handling HR inquiries, managing electronic personnel files, supporting HR operations and data collection, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, and supporting employee relations matters. The People Services Generalist is responsible for analyzing data, reporting trends, and making recommendations and process improvements. They will participate or lead cross-functional projects to enhance HR service delivery and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

HR Service Delivery & Case Management

  • Respond to and resolve all teammate inquiries and concerns that come through the HR Inbox by partnering with or escalating to the appropriate teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, Compliance) when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support in response to teammate and manager HR inquiries.
  • Utilize a HR case management system (HR Aquity) to track, manage, and resolve incoming requests efficiently.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, report trends, and recommend and develop process improvements or additional training resources.

HR Operations & Data Management

  • Process and audit all HRIS transactions through UKG including terminations, promotions, status changes, etc.
  • Maintain all electronic teammate personnel files and ensure files are compliant and survey ready.
  • Prepare teammate separation notices and related documentation, and monitor exit surveys.
  • Research and respond to all unemployment claims.
  • Support leaves of absence management as needed.
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop processes in alignment with HRIS and other technology resources.
  • Partner with People HRIS, People Compliance, People Business Partners

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Address and resolve teammate concerns, conflicts, and policy violations in alignment with company policies.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management topics in alignment with all applicable laws, company policies, and solid HR best practices and principals.
  • Support employee relations investigations and partner with People Business Partners as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).

Project Support

  • Utilize proven HR expertise to develop and help implement cross-functional initiatives across the People Team.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or equivalent experience in lieu of- Required
  • 2+ years of expereince in Healthcare- Required
  • 3+ years of experience with knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations benefits/ payroll laws (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, leaves of absence).- Required
  • 1+ years of experience in employee relations resolution - Required
  • Must be customer-focused with a helpful and solutions-oriented mindset, providing support to individuals at all levels within the department and across the organization. Should demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, collaboration, and a commitment to problem-solving in a team-oriented environment- Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and experience working with HR systems and reporting tools. - Required
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and proactively develop and implement efficient processes by leveraging available resources and technology to enhance operational effectiveness.- Required
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a remote environment. Should demonstrate strong judgment in knowing when to escalate issues, seek input, or collaborate with others to drive solutions.- Required
  • Healthcare experience working with regulatory agencies (Joint Commission/ Department of Health)- Preferred

The compensation for the People Services Generalist role ranges from $60,000- $75,000 and is based upon experience and market expectations..
